OUR HISTORY

Valentine and Thelma Betterman opened the showroom doors in 1949, proudly representing high-end textiles and furnishings to the trade.  Valentine’s passing in the early 1950’s lead Mrs. Betterman to take over as the showroom head.  After decades of service, she retired in 1989.  Mrs. Betterman sold the business to her veteran salesperson, Scott Pohren.  Under Scott’s direction, Betterman’s has expanded to include over 20 product lines and has furthered our reputation as a reliable source for today’s finest home interiors products.  From our unique textiles and furniture to our custom lighting and drapery hardware, we offer a wide selection of goods to complete your project.
